EXHIBITION MODEL FELDHEIM
For the New Energy Forum in Feldheim—the energy-self-sufficient village south of Berlin—an interactive model was created that brings the village’s unique energy infrastructure to life. Using a touchscreen, visitors can access content that is synchronized with the physical model, where it is displayed in real time.
The model’s base, made of translucent Corian, incorporates 2,368 individually programmable LEDs. This allows lighting effects to be projected from the interior onto the surface: animated representations of energy flows, as well as the highlighting of individual areas and structural components, make the complex interrelationships immediately understandable.
In addition to this model, MMB created a smaller but equally interactive travel model of Feldheim for mobile use and trade show appearances.
