HYDROGEN POWER PLANT

This interactive model was created for Fraunhofer IEG to vividly illustrate how a hydrogen power plant works. Using a touchscreen, visitors can access content that is synchronized with the physical model and displayed on it.

The model’s base, made of translucent Corian, is equipped with individually programmable LEDs. This allows lighting effects to be projected from the interior onto the surface: animated representations of energy flows, as well as the highlighting of key areas and technical systems, make the complex processes understandable and tangible.
