IF AND ONLY IF (MODERN TIMES)
Three-dimensional interpretation of stills from the film “if and only if” by artist Anri Sala, created as cutouts in old textile stamps. The resulting negative reliefs depict a snail on a viola bow, which, in the film, travels the entire length of the bow and alters the performance of the famous violist Gérard Caussé in Igor Stravinsky’s Elegy for Solo Viola.
