REFERENCE POWER PLANT LAUSITZ

An interactive model was created for the presentation of the Lausitz reference power plant, which allows visitors to experience how a hydrogen power plant works in a vivid way. Using a touchscreen, visitors can access content that is synchronized with the physical model and appears on it.

Approximately 1,600 individually programmable LEDs are integrated into the model’s base, which is made of translucent Corian. This allows lighting effects to be projected from the interior onto the surface: animated representations of energy flows, as well as the highlighting of individual areas and technical systems, make the complex processes easy to understand.
