ISHTAR GATE

Parts of the original Ishtar Gate of the ancient city of Babylon are on display at the Museum of the Ancient Near East in Berlin. The model depicts the entire complex and impressively illustrates the actual dimensions of Babylon’s entrance structures. It was constructed based on historical sources and drawings.
