OFFSHORE WIND TURBINE

For the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM), this 3.5-metre-high functional model of an offshore wind turbine was created. As an exhibit for trade fairs and exhibitions, it serves to communicate various research projects and technologies in the field of offshore wind energy. A mechanism specially designed for the model sets the rotor in motion, giving the exhibit a dynamic, technical presence.
