PINK PANTHER VS. THE POPE

For artist Simon Fujiwara, we produced the edition Pink Panther vs. The Pope - a sculptural chandelier combining architectural motifs from St. Peter's Basilica with elements of popular culture. The suspended aluminium frame carries engraved acrylic facades of St. Peter's Basilica as well as the Sistine Chapel depicting Adam and the Pink Panther. Numerous additional Pink Panther figures complete the multilayered installation. The artwork was realized as an edition of five plus one artist's proof, combining precise metal construction, engraved acrylic components, lighting, and freely suspended elements into a complex spatial composition.
