SS SALVATION

For artist Simon Fujiwara, we produced a new version of the sculpture SS Salvation from the series Syphilis: A Conquest (2020–23).
The approximately 1.5-metre-long artwork consists of a stylised ray as the hull and translucent, printed textile sails. As part of the realization, construction, materiality, and production details were newly developed to reproduce the sculptural impact of the original in a durable and repeatable form.
