SUBWAY STATION MUSEUMSINSEL BERLIN

Max Dudler Architekten designed the Berlin Museumsinsel subway station, drawing inspiration from Karl Friedrich Schinkels iconic stage design for Mozarts 1816 opera "The Magic Flute". The sectional model atmospherically showcases the striking ultramarine-colored, LED-illuminated vaults. The choice of pear wood to represent the natural stone cladding lends the model a warm feel.
